“EMBG(UK) was formed in 2006. The company’s objectives are to promote, advance and coordinate the interests of  the ethnic minority business community in their trade, business or professional activities, to facilitate the integration of these businesses into the mainstream and to carry out such activities that may be necessary or expedient in order for the company to achieve this.

EMBG (UK)  uses successful and experienced business leaders and selected partners with a track record of delivery and commitment to our network,  to promote Entrepreneurship, and help to identify and manage business risks thereby creating an environment for sustained business growth vital to the regional economy.

The Directors of EMBG (UK)  are all volunteers and are not paid a salary for acting as Directors. There are no shareholders in the company and therefore all monies earned or grants obtained are used only for the delivery of services and promoting the interests and aims of the organisation.

As business people we are increasingly aware that economic and politics are inexorably linked. As part of driving our business agenda forward EMBG (UK) will work with other organisations to raise with public sector bodies and central government the issues and concerns that impact our members. By doing this in a constructive but firm way we hope to improve the business environment for our communities.
